Omnificence

Artworks never exist in time, they have “entry points”. – Redza Piyadasa.

Organising an art exhibition is the process of gaining another experience in life through critical thinking in a way on how art will be presented to the audience. Same experience in applies to the artist.

As a gallery that actively promotes and provides a platform for artists to showcase their talent, young or budding, Galeri Prima believes this online exhibition is an opportunity for these senior, emerging and young artists to achieve their full potential.

Art has a major responsibility in describing culture for all communities and be able to capture it by creating a platform for the artist to show diversity through their art pieces.

The originality is a subjective term to create something to be inspired and inspiration comes from influence and experiences. It is a natural cycle. Creativity as a problem-solving nation, where an idea comes from addressing a need.

Adapting to the new norm in Malaysian, we bring to you an online art exhibition, Omnificence that will be held from June 9 to June 26, 2020.

Artists participating in this exhibition show how art has become an important aspect of our lives, to inspire and remaind us that we are capable of creating. Everything in this world is constantly evolving; there is always something that can be improved.

Twenty-three young, emerging and senior artists will display various works with different art styles and perspectives. The participating artists are Raden Hisbullah, Arif Hassan, Fuji Anggara, Husin Othman, Ruzamira Abdul Razak, Khairulsani Ismail, Anissa Tajul Urus, Izwa Ahmad, Faizal Suhif, Amirul Md Noor, Jamil Zakaria, Effi Syafiq, Zaim Durulaman, Firdaus Yusof, Zaharin Mohammad, Rosli Zakaria, Fauzin Mustafa, Johan Marjonid, Ehlid Luli, Fadhli Ariffin, Sharlene, Amir Sulli and Awang Jack.

Omnificence literally means state of mind in creating all things; having unlimited powers of creation, especially as revealed in works of art.

In summary, all artworks in Omnificence show the beauty of creativity and the evolving of ideas and a reflection of their thoughts.

The artists involved in Omnificence used both conventional and the unconventional, while keeping to the originality.
