Themed The Secret Garden, this 4th solo by a self-taught artist Marisa R Ng is on view at Galeri Prima from 26 September to 4 October 2018, opens with a hi-tea reception on Saturday, 29 September, from 3 pm to 5 pm at Galeri Prima.
This exhibition is the seventh exhibition organised by Galeri Prima, a gallery that actively promotes and provides a platform for artists; young or senior and established or budding, to showcase their talent and art.
The Secret Garden features more than 55 abstract paintings from large-scale to small-scale that unleash the full abstract expressionist force of colour on canvas. Marisa’s will take us to her fantasy of creating flourishing and a colourful garden of her dream.
She interprets her imagination from her reading in an abstract expressionist style with the use of strong blocks of colour and energetic brush strokes yet spontaneous.
The display of her 4th solo includes her previous series; Hati Hati, Ong:It Came From A Place Of Love Series, Muka Muka Celaka Yang Aku Pernah Jumpa, The Naked Truth and Monsoon for visitors to have a glimpse on her style and progress since 2009.
