Tao Xiu Zhen Charity Solo Art Exhibition is jointly organized by City Art Gallery and Galeri Prima; coorganised by Curate Henry Butcher, Kuala Lumpur College of Art Alumni Association and Cao Tang Men Eastern Arts Society Malaysia.
Tao Xiu Zhen Charity Solo Art Exhibition showcases 40 Chinese ink paintings (subjects include serene mountains, beautiful flora and fauna, water lilies, farms, birds, chickens, peacocks, eagles, monkeys, fruits, still life etc). All of the proceeds from the selling of these artworks will go to MEDIA PRIMA – NSTP Humanitarian Fund, to help the underprivileged group.
Chinese ink painting requires skillful technique in controlling the natural diffusion of water mixing with ink. Each stroke has to be carried out without hesitation.
