As an art gallery, Galeri Prima actively promotes and provides a platform for young or budding artists to nurture their creativity and showcase their talents and achieve their full potential. Even with the Covid-19 restrictions the past two years, Galeri Prima continued to host these young or budding artists via exhibitions online. One of these online exhibitions was EMERGENT which saw these artists sharing their resilience and commitment to a studio research project. The lifting of the COVID-19 restrictions will now see Galeri Prima hosting them via EMERGENT II at Balai Berita in Bangsar. EMERGENT II features works by emerging artists and graduates of UiTM, MIA and ASWARA. Through the exhibition, Galeri Prima offers these artists an opportunity to introduce their works to the public.
EMERGENT II unites 43 local emerging artists from differing backgrounds offering works of divergent styles and perspectives.
