“A walkthrough of AMALGAMATION: Diversity of Expression bespeaks UNITY through ART. 

And as art is beyond painting, we bring together arts in various genres, mediums and expressions in harmony to reflect unity. 

“We put on display a total of 74 artworks by seven artists and a designer in this exhibition that will run from 19 September – 7 October 2016 at Galeri Prima.

The AMALGAMATION: Diversity of Expression, features a group of seven artists and a designer from different artistic backgrounds showcasing their various works from painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking and textile.  

The essence of unity is beautifully expressed in each work and displayed at this third exhibition organised by Galeri Prima.

Seven artists in this show include: Norida Mohd Ali, Abdul Ghani Ahmad, Mohd Fahmi Mohd Taib, Nazmi Ismail, Shahrul Anuar Shaari, Mohammad Khizal Mohamed Saat, Saiful Amir Jaya Putera and designer, Mohd Hafiz Drahman. 

In some of the works, mediums like acrylic, oil, water colour, pastel are stripped, leaving behind versatility, skills and overall mind-blowing work. Using unconventional mediums and techniques such as cosmetics and thread give this exhibition its uniqueness. The display of welded-metal sculptures are exceptionally interesting too. 

The presentation of multi patterns, shapes, lines, and colours in other works are made important and explosive too. All these elements are clearly the driving force in their works.
